Start off your 4th with a BANG!

Throw on your Red, White & Blue for this holiday themed 5K Run/Walk around beautiful Johnson Reservoir at Clement Park! We'll have FREE Omaha Steaks® Gourmet Franks and Village Inn Apple Pies waiting for all participants at the finish line! Come and kick-off the start of your holiday festivities and burn off some calories before heading to all those 4th of July BBQ's. Prizes, refreshments, free stuff in our partner village, face painting and balloons for the kids!

Course description:

The Firecracker 5K will be held at Clement Park. The course starts and finishes on the east side of Johnson Reservoir. Once underway, you’ll be taken west, heading counterclockwise, on the trail that borders Johnson Reservoir. Once you get to the south end, the course continues into the Woodmar neighborhood for a short visit before heading back towards the finish line in Clement Park.

Directions to start:

The start and finish line will be located just south of the Columbine Public Library on the east side of Johnson Reservoir near the Clement Park Amphitheater.

Parking:

Parking for the race will be found just south of the Columbine Public Library, south of the baseball fields and at the eastern boarder of Clement Park (near Pierce St).

Awards will be given to the top overall M/F finishers in the following age categories:

Chip Timing

The Firecracker 5K will utilize chip timing technology for scoring accuracy. Chips will be distributed during packet pick-up and must be worn during the event. All chips must be returned immediately following the race at the finish line to avoid a $30 penalty.

Thank you for supporting the Firecracker 5K! Donating blood is one of the easiest ways to volunteer and give back to your community, and healthy people ages 16 and above are just Bonfils Blood Center’s type. While donations dip as much as 20 percent during the summer, the need for blood remains constant. Visit one of Bonfils’ many donor centers or mobile blood drives, including our new Southwest Littleton donor center located at Belleview and Wadsworth next to Club U.S.A., to help ensure a safe and ready blood supply. Appointments available. Walk-ins welcome!
