Description:

Join the Friends of Barr Lake for our 10th Annual Raptor Run! Run or walk to help raise funds to support the park. Registration fees are $40 until March 19th. The fee will go up to $45 on the day of the event. Children 15 and under and senior 60 and older receive an $5 discount from each of the fees. Race day registration and packet pick up begin at 8:00 a.m. on April 9th. Register by March 19th to guarantee correct t-shirt size!

Course description:

Raptor Run 5K: New Course for 2022!! Start at the Nature Center bridge and head North along the lake. At our fishing pier, turn East to the archery range. The second half of the race will be on the road, where your family (including furry members) and friends can cheer you on.

Directions to start:

The starting line is by the Nature Center bridge. The course runs North from the Nature Center.

Parking:

Park in the Nature Center parking area. Please follow parking guide's direction to help get everyone safely parked. 

Awards info:

There will be prizes awarded for the top three 5K race times in each category. Categories include women, men, and kids 15 and under.

T-shirts available to first 50 registrants. Register by March 19th to guarantee correct size!

Packet pickup:

Packet pickup begins at 8:00 am on the morning of the race. Packets can be picked up from the Meadowlark Pavilion that is to the left of the Nature Center.

Registration info:

All proceeds from the race go to Friends of Barr Lake, a non-profit 501c3 group that supports Barr Lake State Park in its mission to provide education, recreation, and conservation opportunities to community members.
