For 17 years, the annual runBlossom race has helped usher in the summer season in Cañon City. As the snow melts and the leaves begin to adorn trees, runners of all ages come together to celebrate the Cañon City Music and Blossom Festival. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, this year's runBlossom race will incur some changes. Please note that - in order to facilitate participant caps - we will not be running the half-marathon event this year. Per current regulations, we will not offer ONE START TIME at 8:30 am. ALL competitors will meet at the park for an 8:30 am start.
Youth registrants may use code YOUTH to recieve the $20 entry price. Price will show upon checkout.
Registration will close on April 28th. There will be NO race-day registration. Registrations after April 17th do NOT INCLUDE A T-SHIRT.

This race utilizes a nice, smooth course along the scenic Arkansas River riverwalk. The entirety of the course is well-maintained, crusher-fine dirt. It is suitable for individuals of all ability levels.
5K Course
Distance: 3.1 miles
Terrain: 98% Crusher-fine, wide dirt path
Elevation gain / loss: 123 feet
Equivalent to: equivalent to an 11-story building
Points of significance: Beautiful views of the Arkansas River in spring and views of the mountains
The starting line will be at Centennial Park in Cañon City, Colorado.
Parking is available on the north side of Centennial Park. Cross the pedestrian bridge to find the race start.
Please note that there will be NO AWARD CEREMONY, due to COVID-19 congregation restrictions.

Early Packet Pick-up 5-7 pm, April 30 at The Hive in downtown Cañon City (729 Main Street).
Race Day packet pick-up will begin at 7:00 am at Centennial Park.
There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. (All events are subject to contact tracing and participant limitations. Thank you for your understanding.)
Registration for the 5K includes chip timing and swag. All proceeds benefit Fremont Adventure Recreation's mission to support a culture of health and wellness in Fremont County.
