DESCRIPTION

Race check-in and same-day registration starts at 7:30am at the Jordan Student Success Building Lawn!
 
Come and join us on Sunday, Spetember 14th, 2025 in celebration of Mexican Independence Day by participating in a 5k (3.1 mile) run/walk!
 
This event supports the Auraria campus and greater Metro Denver communities with scholarships for students involved in cross country and track programs.

REGISTRATION CLOSED:

Online registration for El Grito 5k is now closed - you can register day-of onsite at the check-in/registration table. We accept cash, check, and online payment.

Starting from the Jordan Student Success Building lawn and around the Auraria campus with great views of the city and mountain skyline.

DIRECTIONS TO START

890 Auraria Pkwy, Denver, CO, 80202
 
The course is a series of loops in Auraria Campus with the start and finish lane located in the lawn directly southwest of the Jordan Student Success Building. There is parking available across the campus with more information for event parking to come closer to the race date.

PARKING

There are a number of paid parking garages and sides street spots across campus.
Free street sparking can be found south of Colfax on Shoshone and Rio Court streets bordering the MSU Regency Athletic Complex.

Day-of registration will be available starting at 7:30am. We can only accept cash or check at this time.

PACKET PICKUP

Bibs and packets will be available for pickup starting at 7:30am up until kickoff by the Jordan Student Success Building lawn.
