Race Start Time:  Multiple start times will be offered throughout the morning. 
10K race will occur first, followed by the 5K race.   Registrants will be sent information about wave start times the week of the race.  


Registration is closed and day of regsitration will NOT be availabe for this race. 

You can join us virtually and sign up until 5pm on 9/13.

Mostly flat, fast course on crusher fine surface along the scenic High Line Canal.


Start and finish are located in deKoevend Park next to the Goodson Recreation Center, 6315 S. University Blvd. Centennial  80121

Overall Male and Female in the 10K & 5K 

10K: Medals for 1st and 2nd place Male and Female in the following age divisions: 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K: Medals for 1st and 2nd place Male and Female in the following age divisions: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

Virtual participants will not be eligible for awards.


South Suburban is committed to following state/county public health orders.  Specific guidelines will be sent to participants that register when the event nears. 

Proceeds benefit South Suburban’s Community Recreation Scholarship Program.

Adult Shirt:  VersaTek Tri-Blend Material (think tech meets super soft).  Unisex sizing (true to size for men, run slightly large for women).  60% polyester, 35% Rayon, 5% Spandex.   $25 optional purchase available at checkout when you register. 
Quantities will be very limited. 
Youth Shirt:Gildan Tee, 100% Preshrunk Cotton.  $10 optional purchase available at checkout when you register.


Completed registrations are non-refundable.  Registrations may be transferred to another runner two days prior to race day by contacting the race director.  In the event the State or local health department issues a mandatory “Stay at Home” order, or mandates the closure of certain programs and/or facilities, participant(s) of this race will adjust to a virtual format.  Refunds will NOT be issued. 


Day of Packet Pickup will NOT be available

Thurs, 9/10 from 4-6pm at Road Runner Sports (8457 S Yosemite St, Lone Tree, CO 80124) curbside style

In-person event sold out!  No day of registration will be offered on race day in 2020.  You can still join us virtually though!

Early Registration (by 8/27) is only $25 for adults, $15 for youth (ages 14 & younger) 

Regular Registration (after 8/28) is $30 for adults, $20 for youth (ages 14 & younger)

Virtual race option does not include pancake breakfast and participants will not be eligible for awards.

COVID-19 Update:  
The High Line Canal 5K/10K Run has been moved to September 13, 2020.   
If registered for the race in May, your registration has automatically been moved to the new date of September 13. 


We will do whatever we can to hold the event in any weather conditions.
