Race Title: No Days Off Challenge: Run for Change 5K Virtual Race

Description: Join us for the Run for Change 5K Virtual Race, an inspiring event that allows you to make a difference from anywhere in the world! Whether you're a seasoned runner or just looking for a fun way to stay active, this race is perfect for all fitness levels.

Race Details:

Date: 9/3/2024
Location: Anywhere! Run, jog, or walk on your favorite trail, in your neighborhood, or even on a treadmill.
Distance: 5 kilometers (3.1 miles)
Purpose: All proceeds from this race willsupport New Steps Foundation, helping to The Mobile Mentoring Program aims to support at-risk youth in Portsmouth, VA, by providing personalized mentoring, academic assistance, career readiness training, and life skills development.

How It Works:

Register: Sign up online to secure your spot. Early bird registrants will receive a special race packet, including a race bib, a commemorative medal, and a Wristband.

Race: Complete your 5K anytime during the designated race period. Track your distance using a running app, GPS watch, or other fitness devices.

Submit: After completing the race, submit your time online. Share your achievement on socialmedia using the hashtag #RunForChange5k to connect with other participants.

Celebrate: All participants will receive a digital certificate of completion, and the top finishers in various categories (age groups, gender, etc.) will receive special awards.
