DESCRIPTION

Put your Birkie Green commitment into action as we prepare several hundred extra Birkie and Korte race bibs for recycling. We will remove the timing chips from the bibs so they can be accepted by our new recycling provider. There is also the possibility of a tour of Republic Services Lake Area Landfill, an area landfill/recycling center in Sarona, WI before we begin working on the bibs. We will end with a late lunch/early dinner at a local Hayward restaurant. Each person will pay for their own meal.

The day’s events:
Friday July 19, 2024
10:00 am – Meet at the Birkie office in Hayward
Possible tour of Republic Services in Sarona, WI
Remove timing chips from race bibs
Late lunch/early dinner at a Hayward restaurant
