DESCRIPTION

Practices will be held June 13, 20th and 27th Track Meet will be held July 13th 9am-12pm Experienced coaches teach children in grades 1-8 proper techniques for Track and Field. The athletes then participate in encouraging competition with others in their age range. Events include sprints, mid distance, long distance, hurdles, relays, and standing long jump. Age appropriate instruction will be given on starts, running on turns, running form, relays, and jumping form. As always, the Jump Start Sports ideals of sportsmanship, respect, and acceptance will be emphasized. All participants will receive a medal for participating
