DESCRIPTION

Practices will be held on 6/12, 6/19, 6/26 Meet in Hudson on 7/13 Experienced coaches teach children in grades 1-8 proper techniques for indoor Track and Field. The athletes then participate in encouraging competition with others in their age range. Events include sprints, mid distance, long distance, hurdles, relays, and standing long jump. Age appropriate instruction will be given on starts, running on turns, running form, relays, and jumping form. As always, the Jump Start Sports ideals of sportsmanship, respect, and acceptance will be emphasized. All participants will receive a medal for participating
