Description:

Come camp at Colorado Mountain College Leadville during the Lifetime Fitness Leadville Race Series 100 mile Mountain Bike race from August 11-14. There will be camping spaces on our Multi-Purpose field and RV camping on the Rattling Jack Access Road.

Course description:

SPACE IS LIMITED and we anticipate a sell out, so register early to guarantee your spot!

100% of all proceeds for camping will be donated to CMC

in support of their Cross Country running team. Funds will be used to support the team, and their travel to Nationals!

Camping sites are $100 for the weekend for each 20'x20' space. There are 40' long RV spaces, too.

Directions to start:

All campers must check-in at the Colorado Moutain College check-in tent located at the green gate by the Climax Molybdenum Building near the emergency access road at the CMC Leadville campus (901 S Hwy 24 Leadville, CO 80461). Tent and car campers will camp on the Multi-Purpose field, RVers will pull around to the Ratting Jack Access Road. Check in time will begin at 4PM on Thursday, August 11, and check out time will be at 9AM on Sunday, August 14.

Parking:

  1. No vehicles over 18 feet are permitted on tent and car camping site spots.
  2. There are no RV hookups; RVs must be self-sustainable.
  3. All fires are prohibited everywhere at CMC, so please only use camp stoves in the parking lot or around the Gazebo. Camp stoves cannot be used on the field. RV camp stoves must stay inside the vehicle or used at the Gazebo.
  4. Smoking tobacco is only allowed in the smoking shacks near the residence hall or near the Gazebo. Smoking is not allowed anywhere else on campus.
  5. Marijuana is not allowed on campus in any form (including CBD).
  6. Firearms, air rifles, paintball guns, and fireworks are prohibited.
  7. Dogs are only allowed on campus if:
    1. The dog is on a leash.
    2. The dog is contained to campsite.
    3. Dog waste must be cleaned up and disposed of in appropriate receptacles.
  8. Alcohol and controlled substances are prohibited on Colorado Mountain College grounds.
  9. Quiet hours will be from 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM.
  10. Portable toilets will be available. Please do not use the forest at CMC to go to the restroom.
