Description:

Ski yourself into a part of Michigan ski racing history by being a part of the premeir Giant Slalom and Slaom races in the state.  We start on Saturday, January 30 with the 16th Annual Adgate Trophy Giant Slalom and follow on Sunday with the 16th Annual Kircher Cup Slalom.  The Adgate Trophy GS  and Kircher Cup SL will take place on North Boyne.  Both races are hosted by Boyne's Ski Ambassador, six time national champion and 2 time Olympian, Cary Adgate.  These races typically attract the fastest racers from around the Midwest and there will be an open division for the most competitive racers and age divisions for more recreational racers.

Course description:

16th Annual Adgate Trophy Giant Slalom: a technical giant slalom on the North Boyne slope at Boyne Mountain Resort

 
16th Annual Everett Kircher Cup Slalom:  the Kircher Cup Slalom will take place on the North Boyne slope at Boyne Mountain Resort

Directions to start:

Saturday, January 30:  Start time for 16th Annual Adgate Trophy GS will be 1pm at the top of N Boyne slope at Boyne Mountain Resort

 
Sunday, January 31:  Start time for the 16th Annual Kircher Cup Slalom will be 10am at the top of the North Boyne slope at Boyne Mountain Resort

Awards info:

There will be the following divisions for both races.  Separate divisions for males and females.


Open (for the fastest and most competitive racers and all racers between 16 and 39 years of age)
Legends (60 and older)
11 and younger
12-15
40-59
 
Awards to include medals for the top 3 finishers in each division.  There will also be drawings for Boyne Gift Cards each day as well as prizes from the event sponsors. 

Additional info

All racers must pre-register!  Pre-registration will close at 11:59pm on Thursday, January 28.  On site registration will not be available.
