MUST READ - INSTRUCTIONS FOR SUBMITTING NOMINATIONS ARE HERE:

Please register each person in your party*. Please do not be confused by "race day" or "race" references. This is a platform that is typically used for walk/run events, but we are using it in this case to gather nominee information.

Nominee/Registrant is the person with epilepsy. Enter their information first. Guest 2, Guest 3 and Guest 4 are for immediate family members residing in the same household as Nominee.  Siblings must be 20 and under to be qualify.

Please enter the Nominee's information first. At the bottom of that page, there is a box to check to register others.  Please click that box and go back and add complete information for additional guests, naming Guest 2, 3 and 4 if applicable.

Here are the rules. Please read them carefully. Nominations forms must be complete and will not be accepted if all questions are not answered and complete.
  • Only Nominees with an epilepsy diagnosis will qualify. Please be prepared to provide proof if your nominee is selected.

  • You must be a member of either The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation Group page or "like" The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation fan page. An active facebook account is required for any winners as much of the communication with winners is done through a private winner page.

  • Winners requiring airfare will receive fares for the Nominee and up to (3) immediate* family members. Airfare is provided within the Continental United States only. Chelsea's Wish will provide admission to the Epilepsy Awareness Day at Disneyland (EADDL) Expo (it's actually free of charge), admission for Nominee and up to (3) immediate* family members to Disneyland on EADDL and to California Adventure Park the following day. This wish trip includes (4) nights' accommodations with breakfast provided each morning and a Meet and Greet event so everyone can become acquainted.

  • *Immediate family members for this purpose are defined as a legal parent or guardian or sibling (age 20 or under) to Nominee only, residing in the same residence. Adults with epilepsy, living alone can nominate themself and one guest.

  • If you wish to include caregivers or other family members, they are welcome, but they would have to pay their own expenses and make their own arrangements.

  • If you are unable to travel by air, prefer to drive you or airfare is not necessary because of your proximity to Disneyland, you must be able to provide your own transportation and accommodations to and from the event. We will be selecting some families from this category.

  • Dates for 2023 are October 30-November 2. We will start taking nominations on May 1, 2023. hand column.

The deadline for entry is 11:59 PM MST on July 15, 2023. The random drawing will take place on July 16, 2023 in honor of the family who inspired and started the funding of Chelsea’s Wish. The Chelsea Hutchison Foundation grants comfort and hope to those affected by epilepsy through providing tangible monitoring resources, vital information, and a safe haven for conversation and community.

Our main goal is to raise awareness of SUDEP and to make a positive difference in the lives of individuals and families living with epilepsy.

We raise funds to provide education about SUDEP and to provide seizure response dog grants, (what we believe to be) lifesaving movement monitors that help to protect against SUDEP and grant wish trips to Epilepsy Awareness Day and Expo at Disneyland.

We stay up-to-date on current trends in medical technology in order to be able to provide the most effective devices as they become available.

We respect the value and quality of life of every person living with epilepsy.

We are dedicated to providing opportunities that allow individuals and families greater independence, increased confidence, ability to enjoy social environments, and community understanding.
