I know that participating in a run/walk activity is a potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter and participate unless I am medically able and properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of an appointed official relative to my ability to safely complete the outing. I assume all risks associated with racing, running or walking in this event including, but not limited to: falls, contact with other participants, the effects of weather, cold temperatures, the wind, ice, snow, traffic and conditions of the road, animals on the course both wild and domestic all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts and in consideration of your accepting my entry, I, for myself and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release Leave Your Mark Events LLC. (LYMevents), and any staff members paid and non-paid, all sponsors, their representatives, and successors, Saving Hearts Together organization their volunteers and any staff, paid or non paid. The city of Colorado Springs, it’s elected officials, employees, and volunteers and any and all staff, paid or non-paid, any members or volunteers from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event. I grant permission to all foregoing to use any photographs, motion pictures, recordings, or any other record of this event for any legitimate purpose, and I also allow my name and image to be posted in the results in various media such as newspaper, periodicals, and the web. I grant permission for LYMevents LLC to email me about other events I might have interest in
