I know that running/walking/ area potentially hazardous activity. I should not enter or run or walk or cycle in this event unless I am medically able & properly trained. I agree to abide by any decision of a race official relative to my ability to safely complete the event. I assume all risks associated with participating in this event including, but not limited to, contact with animals both domestic and wild, falls, slips, contact with other participants, trail users, road traffic the effects of weather, including high heat and/or humidity or snow/ice, the conditions of the road and traffic on the course, all such risks being known and appreciated by me. Having read this waiver and knowing these facts, and in consideration of your acceptance of my application, I, for myself, and anyone entitled to act on my behalf, waive and release LYMEvents LLC the race organizers and volunteers, all sponsors and vendors, the City of Colorado Springs and their managers, members, owners employees, agents and their representatives and successors from all claims or liabilities of any kind arising out of my participation in this event even though that liability may arise out of negligence or carelessness on the part of the persons named in this waiver. I certify that I am physically able to participate in this event. I understand that all fees are non-refundable and I also allow my name and image to be posted in the results and various media such as newspaper, periodicals and the web
