Description: USATF Certified Marathon Course, downhill or flat, on the Greenbelt pathway and rural roads near town. Also offering a Half Marathon, 10 K, 5 K, and 1 Mile Sprout Run. Great runner amenities including tech shirt, finisher's medal, age group awards, chip timing, custom bibs, hydration and energy products on the course, post-race food, sports medicine, massage, and immediate care medical services, runner's expo and pasta feed the day prior, professional event management and much, much more.

Course description: Mostly flat and really fast, along Greenbelt pathway and rural roads around Blackfoot, ID.
Course maps:
Directions to start: Exit I-15 at north Blackfoot interchange (Exit 93). Go east to the intersection of Bergener Blvd and Parkway (McDonalds), and turn left. Follow Parkway past 4 way stop, continuing approximately 1 mile to Veteran's (Airport) Park.
Parking: You will be directed by friendly volunteers to park in the gravel lot immediately behind race central. Please do NOT park on roadways near the Start area.
Awards info: All finishers will receive a unique-to-this-event medal. Top finishers in each distance will receive custom trophies. Top finishers in age groups, not winning trophies, will get special awards.
Chip Timing All participants will have a disposable timing chip on the back of their number bib. Please do not crumple the bib or pin through the timing chip.
Race Specific Bibs Each distance will have a unique bib color, which helps course marshals in directing runners when routes diverge. All bibs MUST be worn on the front. If you pin your bib on the back, you will be held back from the start corral until you pin it on properly.
Post Race Food Our staff dietician has prepared a post race recovery meal that will help you with carbohydrate and protein replenishment. Free to all entrants with the coupon on your bib.
Medical Services We will provide First Responders on the course to do basic first aid. At the finish line, all runners will be evaluated for injury or distress and sent to onsite Immediate Care or Sports Medicine areas, as needed. If our Medical Officer deems it necessary, transport to the local ER will be arranged.
Packet pickup:

Race Packets will be available at the Runner's Expo at Tommy Vaughn's Grill, starting at NOON on Friday, May 17, until 8:00 pm.

Packets will be available on Race Day beginning at 4:30 am at the Shelter at Veteran's (Airport Park).  Pickup will close for each race 10 minutes prior to the bus departure time. NO EXCEPTIONS.

Registration info:

Beginning May 19, 2012 Kick Start prices are good for the first 50 runners that register for the Marathon and Half Marathon, up until June 19. After that, the Early Bird entry will be available until the end of December for all races. On January 1, 2013, Regular entry fees will be in effect until the end of April. Runners registering after May 1 will NOT be guaranteed a tee shirt. Fees cover your shirt, bag, timing, course amenities, post race feed, awards, and lots more, Also, note that late registrations are NOT GUARANTEED a t-shirt.
