Join your fellow Fremont County residents for a fun Run, Walk and Roll event. There will be plenty of fun prizes and a variety of vendors will be present. Donations will be accepted as all proceeds will go towards donating a specialized running chair to a local resident. This is an inclusive outdoor event! Running chairs, strollers, wheelchairs are encouraged!
Were sorry but registration has been closed. Thank you for your interest in participating and we hope to see you next year! If you have any questions you can email me at runwalkroll5K@gmail.com
An easy course for everyone, relatively flat with a couple small hills. Some gravel parts but mostly paved. Will end up crossing two bridges one at the start/finish line and one about 1/4 of a mile from start/finish. Easily accesible for everyone including running chariots and wheelchairs.
Start/ finish will be located at the bridge in Centennial Park. All event happenings will be around this area. There are two entrances into Centennial Park. From each entrance the bridge is almost directly in the middle of the park, past the playground and water feature. You easily access the bridge from the parking lot by the train by walking through the parking lot and using the stairs or ramp. All events and vendors will be on the side with the water feature. We will be using the bridge for one way traffic after 8 AM, when the runners start running. If you arrive late you will need to access the park from the Griffin Ave entrance.
Parking is avaible from both the Griffin Ave entrance and the S 3rd Entrance (by the train depot and south side of the walking bridge).
Packet pickup will be the day of the event at the registration tent. Please bring a printed version of your email confirmation. If you have not electronically signed the safety waiver you will be required to sign that day or you will not be able to participate.
The fee to register is $15 with the shirt and a wristband.
