DESCRIPTION

The second annual Run for Refugees will be a 5k run/walk open to all runners of any level, dogs on leashes, and strollers. We wish to raise awareness for refugees and support the Global Refugee Center, a charity serving your community in Northern Colorado. Your support is greatly appreciated and we look forward to making this year even more successful.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

The course will begin and end at University High School located in West Greeley. A 5k loop will go through the surrounding area.


DIRECTIONS TO START

The race begins at University High School (6525 W. 18th Street). Parking is available at the start of the race and the Greeley Evans Youth League baseball complex.


AWARDS INFO

Racers will be separated into 7 age groups, further divided by gender. The first place runner in each age group will receive an award donated by a local business. In addition, random drawing prizes will be awarded to any participant who completes the race. The awards ceremony will begin at 9:00 AM. You do not have to be present to win as long as correct address and information is supplied at registration.

Packets May be picked up by 7:30 AM on the day of the race at University Schools. Otherwise available at Bell's Running (3620 W 10th St, Greeley, CO 80634).
