Course description:
The courses* utilize the Cherry Creek Regional Trail, are out-and-back, and consist of concrete trail running. The 5K and 10K split and utilize different sections of the trail to reduce crowding. Both will start and finish at the same finish line. Both courses are USATF Certified Courses: 5K #CO18001MWC and 10K #CO18002MWC The event is rain, snow or shine! No refunds will be issued due to weather. Expect to run on some snow if there is accumulation the night before. *Courses are subject to change if there is inclement weather. Directions to start:
The start line is located southwest of the baseball field on the concrete trail and will be marked with a "Start" flag.
Parking:
Limited parking is located in the lot next to Bar CCC Park - 10951 S Twenty Mile Rd. The entrance is only accessible by traveling southbound on Twenty Mile Rd. Overflow parking is available in the Target lot just to the south of Bar CCC. Carpooling is strongly encouraged to help with the limited parking! Arrive early if you want or need to park close!

Kids 8 and under can participate in the FREE Kids' Dash after the 5K/10K event. Registration is not required. Estimated start time is 11:15 a.m. after the majority of 5K and 10K participants have finished. Leashed dogs and strollers are welcome but need to start at the back of the wave and remain to the right of the trail at all times. Event is held rain, snow, or shine in true Colorado style. No refunds will be issued due to weather.

Family/Team Competition
If you wish to compete in the Family/Team competition please create a new team or select your existing team when pre-registering. The family or team with the most participants will win a prize! The first team member to register can create the team and becomes the team captain. All additional team members can select the team name from the drop down list when registering. If you are registering multiple members at once, please enter the same team name for all participants you wish to be on the same team.
Packet pickup:
Race packet pickup will be available at RNK Running & Walking, 13019 S. Parker Rd., on Thursday, Feb. 6 from 11:30-7 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 7 from 11-6:50 p.m. or at the event site on race morning beginning at 9 a.m.
Registration info:
We recommend registering children under the age of five if they will be walking/running and would like a shirt, pancakes, race bib, a chance to win prizes, and timed results. If they will only be pushed in a stroller you do not need to register them unless they would like the options above. 5K Rate: $25-40 10K Rate: $35-50 Register early and select the lowest rate available for the best price! Each discounted early and pre-registration rate closes once all spaces have been filled! The earlier we have more accurate numbers and shirt sizes the more accurate our ordering and planning can be which saves us time and resources so we pass that savings along to the customers! Your registration fee includes the race, post-race pancakes, commemorative shirt, souvenir bib number, access to local sponsors at the event, professional timing, free downloadable event pictures, a chance to win prizes, on course water stations, certified courses, and a fun experience! *For families/groups of four or more there is a 10% discount on early and pre-registration through February 5 at 12:00 pm - use code GROUPTEN Online registration closes at Noon on Feb 5.
