Run the 'Hollow! Come and run amid the Red Rock and stunning southwest scenery that only Southern Utah can offer. We are a grassroots race that is directed by a husband and wife who are runners and love the sport- but most importantly we love the runers.

The 'Hollow starts out in Hurricane Utah at the City Community Center  http://goo.gl/maps/i5HmB located in dowtown H-Town @ 63 S 100W Hurricane Utah. The route winds thorugh 2 miles of neighborhood mixed with farmland and a cow or two. Then the course contines on through fields with a backdrop of towering cliffs and winds around stunning Sand Hollow State Park and on through the Sand Hollow resort with it's green grass and red rock, you may want to stop and take a picture or two. 

Runners will loop back amid the red sand of Sand Hollow's dunes and head back towards the finish at this point, around mile 19 you will encounter "Nemesis" - you have already met the hill known to local runners as "Nemesis", but you sped down this incline so fast you hardly had time to appreciate it's true chilling reality.

I won't lie the hill is a  beast- but so are you, that's why you run marathons and that's how you earn the coveted "Hollow finishers medal- you kick Nemesis in the teeth!

After you conquer Nemesis the last 7 miles are slightly downhill or flat so you can savor the victory as you cruise in to glory and the smiles of your friends and loved ones at the finish line.

The 'Hollow isn't a easy "downhill" race that Utah is known for, it is a fun, challenging visually decadent feast for runners who like to test themselves, visit one of the most beatiful locations on earth and make a ton of new friends.
