The bracelet of awareness was started by two friends, Joanna Loewen and Terri Alison, who both sadly lost their Mother's to lung cancer- and like so many, both were diagnosed too late.
Last spring, Joanna and Terri discovered The Gift of Life and Breath and its focus on finding screening for early detection of lung cancer. Together, their dream is to promote pearls as the face of lung cancer and ultimately raise awareness for all types of cancer.
All proceeds made from their bracelets go directly to The Gift of Life and Breath, and can be picked up at registration with your bib.
