You may know that Brent’s Place is a one of a kind housing facility that provides families with a home away from home while their children undergo life saving treatment, but we’d like to tell you more about the Brent’s Place and Pura Vida Pur-A-Thlon event and how it might fit into your plans for charitable giving.

On average, kids and their families stay with us for 100 days while they receive intense treatments at a nearby hospital. Brent’s Place provides a “Safe-Clean” environment for these families while their children’s immune systems recover. In addition, our families would tell you Brent’s Place provides a place of hope while they are faced with the most challenging times of their lives—emotionally and financially. As one family member puts it, “Brent’s Place is a special oasis in the middle of unknown illnesses, an unfamiliar city, and uncountable worries and stress.”

Pur-A-Thlon is a fun, exciting, and healthy way to support Brent’s Place and the families who stay there. Pur-A-Thlon will take place at Pura Vida fitness and spa in Denver, Colorado. The day includes a spa experience, exercise and dance classes and concludes with a wonderful Viva la Vida Party!
