| Description: |
The 4th Annual PowerBarLove Me Tender Snowshoe Adventure and the PowerBar Colorado High School Snowshoe State Championships will take place Saturday 2/11/12 at Summit High School in Frisco, CO. The event kicks off at 8:30 AM with day-of registration. The races start at 10:00 AM. Racers will head north from the high school into the Iron Springs Open Space.
Race proceeds will go to the Summit High School Girls' Rugby Team.
The race is also a National Qualifier for the 2012 USSSA Snowshoe Racing National Championships. Information can be found at http://www.snowshoeracing.com/ The top ten males and females in the race and the the top three in each age category will qualify for the national race. USSSA registration forms will be at the race.
The 2012 USSSA Nationals will be at SHS on February 25th. What better way to get a preview of Nationals!
We are so grateful to have PowerBar on board again with us for the second straight year. They are now our title sponsor and will be bringing lots of pre-, during, and post-race fuel. Park in the student parking lot south of the high school. Do not block or intefere with the Summit Stage route. |

| Awards Info: |
Top 10 boys and girls in the 5K. Overall coed team title for the high school division (score 5 either boys and or girls...a perfect score would be 1B+1G+2B+2G+3B/3G=9).
Overall male and female in the 10K. Top three males and females in each age group category in the 10K: 20-39, 40-49, and 50-59, 60+.

25-30 pairs of snowshoes will be available the day-of for rental. They are not racing specific snowshoes but will work great for the race.
PowerBar has donated fuel for the race. We will have two aid stations for the 10K and one aid station for the 5K and the 2K. |
