Description:

Frosty�s Frozen Five & Ten is a flat and fast 5 mile and 10 mile race held each January in Littleton, Colorado. The race starts and finishes at Hudson Gardens and the course travels the paved Platte River Trail. A killer long-sleeved shirt, chip timing, and a party-like atmosphere at the finish are guaranteed to make this race a kickin� good time!

Course description: All races start and finish at Hudson Gardens and utilize the paved Platte River trail system. See specific race website (http://www.winterdistanceseries.com) for full course maps and details.
   
Directions to start: The races will be staged from Hudson Gardens in Littleton. Hudson Gardens is located on US Route 85 (S Santa Fe Drive), directly across from Arapahoe Community College. Overflow parking will be at Arapahoe Community College.
From Denver, travel south on US 85 from I-25 or US 285. Hudson Gardens is located on the west side of the road.
From Colorado Springs and Castle Rock, travel north on I-25, then west on C-470. Exit at Santa Fe Drive (US-85) and travel north. Hudson Gardens is located on the west side of the road.
   
Parking: Please follow the directions of the parking staff.
   
Chip Timing The races will use IPICO Sports timing tags. Runners will receive both a gun time and chip or net time. Per USATF Rule 245 all awards are based on gun times.
   
Register in store Runners Roost is hosting registration for the Winter Distance Series. Runners and walkers can visit any of the Denver metro stores to register for the series or any one of the three individual races. Runners will save $10 off the pre-registration fees by registering for the whole series. Participants who register for the whole series will also get a free one year subscription to Colorado Runner magazine. Also, anyone who registers in store for any of the races will receive 25% off New Balance products.

Registration info:

At the Santa Stampede, you will get a Santa hat and a cotton short sleeve shirt in Unisex sizing. At the Frosty's Frozen Five Ten, you will get a long sleeve cotton shirt in unisex sizing. At the Snowman Stampede, you will get a shirt sleeve technical running shirt in men's and women's sizing.
