Join us for a Christmas Classic! The Santa Stampede (formerly the Rudolph's Revenge) is a flat and fast 5K and 10K held along the banks of the scenic South Platte River in Littleton, Colorado. Last year, we welcomed more than 1,100 finishers with steaming cups of hot cocoa. The holidays can be stressful, so why not keep the stress away with a family friendly run. This year all runners will get a Santa hat with registration, as well as the same top-notch chip timing, a race logo t-shirt, gift certificate awards from Runner's Roost, and festive music and food.

Course description:
All races start and finish at Hudson Gardens and utilize the paved Platte River trail system. See specific race website (http://www.winterdistanceseries.com) for full course maps and details.
Directions to start:
The races will be staged from Hudson Gardens in Littleton. Hudson Gardens is located on US Route 85 (S Santa Fe Drive), directly across from Arapahoe Community College. Overflow parking will be at Arapahoe Community College.
From Denver, travel south on US 85 from I-25 or US 285. Hudson Gardens is located on the west side of the road.
From Colorado Springs and Castle Rock, travel north on I-25, then west on C-470. Exit at Santa Fe Drive (US-85) and travel north. Hudson Gardens is located on the west side of the road.
Parking:
Please follow the directions of the parking staff.
Chip Timing
The races will use IPICO Sports timing tags. Runners will receive both a gun time and chip or net time. Per USATF Rule 245 all awards are based on gun times.
Register in store
Runners Roost is hosting registration for the Winter Distance Series. Runners and walkers can visit any of the Denver metro stores to register for the series or any one of the three individual races. Runners will save $10 off the pre-registration fees by registering for the whole series. Participants who register for the whole series will also get a free one year subscription to Colorado Runner magazine. Also, anyone who registers in store for any of the races will receive 25% off New Balance products.

Race day registration and packet pick-up begins at 7:30 AM on the morning of each race.

At the Santa Stampede, you will get a Santa hat as well as a cotton short sleeve shirt in Unisex sizing. At the Frosty's Frozen Five Ten, you will get a long sleeve cotton shirt in unisex sizing. At the Snowman Stampede, you will get a shirt sleeve technical running shirt in men's and women's sizing.
