5K Walk, Run & Roll + 10K Handcyle and Kids Fun Run.
This event celebrates National Physical Therapy Month and benefits veterans from the Denver VA (Eastern Colorado Healthcare System) attending a National Rehabilitation Event.
There is also a costume contest for those wanting to dress up.
Course description:
The 5K course is a certified course and is known as the BKB City Park 5K. The 10K handcycle is 2 laps of the 5K course. The Kids Fun Run will be approximately 1 kilometer.
The start and finish for all races is to the south of the Pavilion.

Parking:
Participants can park in the East High School parking lots, the Museum parking lot, and the zoo lots or on the street. There'll be limited disabled parking at the Pavilion for those arriving BEFORE 0830.
Awards info:
1st place male and female runners in age groups
0-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50+
1st place for male and female roller (in wheelchair)
1st place male and female handcycles
Costume awards
No age groups/awards for walkers

Each registered participant will receive an event water bottle and goodies.
Packet pickup:
Packets can be picked up either at 0800 on race day or from 11-1on Friday October 286h in the Veterans Fitness Center (VFC). The VFC is located in building 7 on the northwest side of the main VA campus (corner of 11th and Bellaire). There is a wheelchair ramp in front of the building.
