Description:
Join us for the inaugural Ridgegate Duathlon. This challenging but very family friendly event consists a 7K Run, 30K Bike, and 7K Run. There is the 1/2 Du, just a 7K and 15K Bike, or take the ultimate challenge and do all 3 for the Full Duathlon. A free Adventure Expo will be on throughout the event and following the race. This free expo will include the US Army Obstacle Course, fitness sessions, health and wellness booths, zipline, music, free food samples and quality vendors onsite for food and drink purchase.

Course description:
This event is located in the beautiful, sustainable community of Ridgegate, Lone Tree, where the city meets the prairie, an eco-smart blend of urban and open. A stunning course, starting with a 5K Run on The Bluffs and finishing at Prairie Sky Park. 30K Bike registrants will commence their race from Prairie Sky Park, circuiting the streets of Ridgegate. The final 5K Run will commence at Prairie Sky Park, go onto the Bluffs and finish at Prairie Sky Park.
7K Run: Commences at Prairie Sky Park, 9381. 15K & 30K Bike: Commences at the Prairie Sky Parking Lot (9381 Crossington Way, Lone Tree, Colorado 80124)
Parking:
Parking will be in the Lone Tree Recreation Center and streets off Ridgegate Circle. Parking is identified on the race map.

Additional Info:
This race is for competitive and recreational athletes of all ages. Baby jogges are permitted. We want to be sure Fido is safe due to the nature of the course, so no dogs are allowed.
For your safety and the safety of others, no headphones or skates are allowed. Bicycles are not allowed on the Bluffs 7K course.
You may stage your bikes in the transition areas starting at 7:00 a.m.
The event will start promptly with the 7K Run at 8:00 a.m.

Timing:
The race will be electronically timed using the latest in timing technology from Hallucination Sports.
Packet pickup:
Participant packets, including t-shirt, bib with timing tag and goodie bag will be distributed on race morning at the pre-registration tents. Please plan to arrive early. Distribution will commence at 7:00am.
Registration tent will be located at the Prairie Sky Parking Lot.
