In 2012 we have a race within the race called
the Firefighter Team Challenge.
We have a firefighter competition within the Shoreline 5K. To remember the 09/11/2001 terrorist attack on the World Trade Center we are holding a team competition. A team of five emergency workers will each run the 5 K. Their combined times will determine who wins the traveling trophy.
Firefighter Team Challenge Details
A team consists of five registered participants. One team member must be of the opposite sex. Team members must be emergency service personnel and must have been for one year. Teams compete with each other and the citizen race for the grand prize by raising donations. Teams also compete for the fastest combined time of all 5 members. The fastest team takes home the traveling trophy for one year.

The Shoreline 5K is a flat and FAST course on dirt and concrete paths around picturesque McIntosh Lake. Enjoy great views of Mount Meeker and Long's Peak worry free because there are no streets to run on or to cross. Because there are no streets in the course this is a great race for children and dogs.

Parking is limited. Please carpool. There is a small parking lot off Harvard St. near the finish line. All other parking is on the street. Please be considerate of the homeowners in the area.
