Description:
50 Mile, 50km, Half Marathon & 10km Trail Race at beautiful Bear Creek Lake Park, in Lakewood, CO. Voted the "Best Of" by Competitor Magazine for the best race in Colorado, for both 2010 & 2012.
Course description:
An excellent race for first time ultramarathoners and trail runners, runners will experience a variety of challenging terrain and sweeping panoramic views throughout the race. The course is pretty fast (by trail/ultra standards), and not overly technical. 95% of the race course is on dirt and single track trails.
Approximate elevation gain:
Baby Bear 10km = 230 ft.
Half Marathon = 900 ft.
50km = 1,930 ft.
50 Mile = 3,400 ft.
All races will Start/Finish at the Boat Ramp on the northwest corner of Bear Creek Lake.

Parking logistics are being finalized and details will be provided as the race date approaches.

Friday, September 28th at Runners Roost-Lakewood from 5pm to 7pm. Saturday, September 29th, at Runners Roost-Lakewood, from 10am to 5pm. Sunday, September 30th, at the Start/Finish in Bear Creek Lake Park, starting at 5:30am.
There are NO additional registration/processing fees added. Registration will be capped at 1,000 entrants. There is NO race-day registration for this event.
