Course description:
Half road / half trail. Also some sidewalk, some open fields (future streets). Course will be measured and well marked. And fun. In case you didn't know there are 3.1 miles of streets, sidewalks, trails, and parking lots in InterQuest, this is your chance to see it first hand. The scenic backdrop of the mountains and the Academy will help also. (USATF Certificate CO12006DCR)

Yes! Our belief is that a 5K is for runners and walkers both. All we will ask is that everyone seeds themselves in approximate order of speed and for start-of-race safety concerns - we will have walkers start in the second half of the pack instead of the first half of the pack. The race is chip timed, so no matter where you start, you'll still get your accurate times.
Strollers:
In addition to running, we support health, fitness, babies, fun, etc. We'd love to have you! All we will ask is that everyone seeds themselves in approximate order of speed and for start-of-race safety concerns - we will have strollers start in the second half of the pack instead of the first half of the pack. The race is chip timed, so everyone, including those with strollers will still get their accurate times. There is no charge for stroller babies (they're not walking or running after all) and they will not get the shirt, goody bag, official times, etc. NOTE: In the Hams and Hamstrings 5K, there is about a fourth of a mile that goes across a field with no trail. You may want to pre-plan an alternative route around that section or plan to carry the stroller.
Pets:
For the safety of all participants AND pets, no pets are allowed in the race.
