Sign up for our 10-week Winter Training Session that runs from November 5th to January 15th, and join 250 members to train through the holidays and have a blast! Get the support you need for winter full & half marathons, 5-10K's, ultras, etc., or just focus on smartly maintaining and building up your base in prep for 2017 races.
This training option is ideal for runners and walkers maintaining fitness after fall races, looking for an extra couple of months of prep time for spring races, or, for people who are already in training for November/December/January/February races. Saturday long runs will begin at 7:30-8:00am, and Tuesday Speed workouts will be held at 5:30pm. (Please note, our Thursday morning Track & Tempo workouts are not held during the Winter Session. They will resume during the 19-week Spring Session.) We will do our annual Christmas Holiday Lights Fun Run downtown, Pancake Breakfast Run (with Flippin' Flapjacks), mix in some trails, and have a great time!
Members targeting races (15K & Half Marathon or longer) in December, January, February and March will receive customized race training plans. Those who are targeting April, May, June & July races will follow Maintenance/Base Building training plans of various mileage.
