| Description: |
Start your Fourth of July festivities with the 13th annual FireKracker 5K at 8:00 a.m. in City Park. This great family event features a free Kids Fun Run, a fast flat course, great post-race refreshments, raffle prizes and official race T-shirts (T-shirts not guaranteed for race day registration).
The Kids Fun Run (approximately 400 meters) is free to all kids 12 and under and begins after the 5k near the swimming pool at 9:00 a.m. No registration necessary.
Proceeds benefit Fort Collins Parks and Recreation Departments CARA youth Track & Field program in purchasing athletic equipment, uniform shirts and coaching. |

| Course description: |
Flat, fast 5k course that starts and finishes in historic Fort Collins City Park. Course runs around City Park lake and out to city streets before re-entering & finishing in City Park. Kid's course starts near the City Park swimming pool area and finishes at 5K finish line. |

Parking is available at the softball fields at the west end of Oak Street, as well as on the residential streets in the vicinity of City Park. As a Green Event riding your bike or walking to the event is encouraged. |

$1,000 in cash prizes to the top 3 overall male/female winners
First Place = $250
Second Place = $150
Third Place = $50
1st Masters (40 and over) = $50 gift certificates
$50 bonus for new course record!
Custom handmade pottery awards for top 3 Male and Female age group winners in the following age divsions:
15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-69, and 70+.
Medals awarded to top 3 (m/f) in the following age divisions:
10 & under, 11-12, 13-14 age groups |

All participants will be eligible to win raffle prizes. Individual winners will be randomly selected and announced during the race as runners cross the finish line.

Runners who register online can pick up their race packet at Foot of the Rockies between June 23-July 3, or near the Registration table on race morning.
