| Description: |
Participants of all abilities and ages will be walking or running the stairs. In addition, over 40 non-profit cancer organizations will be positioned around the stadium providing information about their organization including: healthy living, cancer prevention, early detection, treatment, access to care, patient and caregiver support, research, advocacy, and survivorship. Enjoy live music, performers, restorative yoga, the kids zone, and massage stations throughout the event. |

| Course description: |
Everyone of all ages is invited to participate. The course is comprised of 33 rows, 1,765 stairs and uniquely designed to be completed at your own pace and ability. Don't want to climb stairs? A stairless course is available on the field and does not require stair climbing. |

Step Up For Cancer is not about one particular organization or
even one type of cancer. Itβs about the many individuals and
generations that make up our community. We need your help.
When you fundraise for Step Up For Cancer, 100% of your pledges
or donations go to the participating non-profit organization of
your choice. Or you can allow your pledges to be divided equally
among all participating organizations. Pledges and donations are
100% tax deductible.
COLLABORATION
Never before have so many non-profit organizations come
together joining forces to provide information to our community.
Together, we can do so much more in the fight against cancer
than we can do alone. Each participating non-profit will benefit
equally from sponsorship dollars and general donations.
Individual pledges will go to the non-profit selected by the
participant, but donations may be made to any participating
non-profit. Your participation will make a difference in the Colorado cancer
community. |

| What To Bring |
Wear comfortable clothing, sneakers, and sunscreen. Water stations are located throughout the stadium. Spectators are welcome for encouragement and to walk the non-profit area. |

| Packet pickup: |
Race Packet Pickup will be Friday, August 5th from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm at Pepsi Center, Saturday, August 6th from 11:00 to 2:00 at Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club, and Sunday at the event.
For Friday Pickup at Pepsi Center, there is a 15 minute parking lane outside of the building; however, it is suggested that participants park in Lot A for free.
For Saturday Pickup, Greenwood Athletic and Tennis Club is located at the corner of Orchard and Quebec in Greenwood Village. Please park in the main parking lot and come into the front entrance of the club.
Please note: if you are picking up a race packet for another participant, please bring a paper copy of his or her registration.
Please also note that you may pick up your race packet on the event day starting 30 minutes before your heat time. |
