| Description: |
To help develop skills for a “Healthier Lifestyle” and to donate funds for youth development as a deterrent to negative behavior such as alcohol, other drug use and violent behavior. We will do this through encouraging positive alternative behaviors.
The First American State Bank Fitness Festival benefits the Community Asset Project a partner of the Cherry Creek School District.

| Parking: |
Parking is free and plentiful on Saturdays in the DTC area. In addition, more than 600 parking spaces are available behind First American State Bank accessible via Belleview Avenue, south on Crescent Parkway. Volunteers will be on hand to assist you. |

Top three male and female overall
Top male/female age categories: 9 & Under, 10 - 13, 14 - 16, 17 - 19 (includuing a $100 savings bond for the first place winner in each category)
Top male and female in the following age groups: 20 - 29, 30 - 39, 40 - 49, 50 - 59, 60 - 69 & 70 - 79, 80+
Team Awards
The largest team in the following categories: Community, Elementary School, Middle School and High School.
School team with the most spirit
The community team with the most spirit
Awards will be given immediately following the race in the Crescent Park Bowl. Winners must be present to receive their awards. |

Event Schedule
7:30am Event Day Registration: Crescent Park (Belleview & DTC
Blvd.).
7:30am Silent Auction Opens.
8:30am Rocky Vista University 5K Run/Walk or Kaiser Permanente 1K Fitness Walk followed by food sampling, entertainment, giveaways and awards.
Awards will be presented in team categories and to the top male
and female winners immediately following the race.
Must have after party wrist band, race bib or VIP badge to enjoy the food.
Event will be held rain or shine. |

Students throughout the Cherry Creek School District will benefit from the Fitness Festival. Net proceeds go to the Community Asset Project, Inc., a partner with the Cherry Creek School District. |

| Timing/Scoring: |
Only those registered and who participate in the 5K will be timed. The 1K Fitness Run/Walk is a non-timed event. |

| Packet pickup: |
Early packet pick-up for pre-registered participants will be on Friday, September 7, 11:00 am - 4:00 pm at the First American State Bank. Packet Pick-up resumes at 7:30 am at Crescent Park on race day. We strongly encourage you to come by early packet pickup! |
