Benefitting the seven Schools in the Buckeye Union School District
All proceeds from the 2012 Making the Grade Run for Education benefit the Buckeye Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit collaboration of parents, educators and community providing supplemental funding to the five elementary schools and two middle schools within the Buckeye Union School District in El Dorado County, California.

Course description:
Very challenging courses with a steep uphill within the first mile.
Starting line will be on the grass at the northeast corner of El Dorado Hills Blvd. and Serrano Parkway.
Finish Line will be South of the Club House.
From Placerville: Take Hwy 50 West to the El Dorado Hills Blvd. exit; Turn right onto El Dorado Hills Blvd. Take El Dorado Hills Blvd. to Serrano Parkway and turn right.
From Folsom: Take Hwy 50 east to the El Dorado Hills Blvd exit. Turn right onto El Dorado Hills Blvd. Take El Dorado Hills Blvd. to Serrano Pkwy and turn right.
Parking:
Parking available at the golf course and on Serrano Parkway. Parking is limited so please CARPOOL!
Awards info:
Medals for top three finishers in each age division.
Medals for all under 12 one mile and 1/2 mile Youth Race finishers.

All 7 schools in the Buckeye School District will be participating in the Festival. And all proceeds from the festival go directly to the school district. Help support this great event!
Chip Timing
Your chip will be issued to you with your race day packet. You must wear the chip during the event to receive a time. Return your chip at the finish line to avoid a $30 penalty.

Packet pickup:
If you registered BEFORE TUESDAY, SEPT. 11 - You may pick up your race packets up Saturday, Sept. 15, 2012 from 8am-2pm, at El Dorado Hills Sports Club. And/or at the Golf Course on the day of the race beginning at 7:00am. Avoid the rush on the day of the race and pick up your packet on Saturday!
If you registered AFTER TUESDAY, SEPT. 11 - YOU MAY PICK UP YOUR PACKET but not your t-shirt on Saturday, Sept 15 from 8-2pm at the El Dorado Hills Sports Club. You will pick up your tshirt after the event at the Runner Registration area. Give yourself plenty of time on the day of the race to park, get checked in, warm up and get to the starting line.
