Registration is available at Runners Roost Denver on Saturday, November 10th, from 11 am to 4 pm. You may register on Saturday the 10th at the Runners Roost store located at 1685 S Colorado Blvd, Denver (I-25 and Colorado Blvd) from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Event day registration is available starting at 8:30 am.

Description: Voted the 2009 #1 5K in Colorado

The Race for Fetal Hope is a celebration of family, fun, and exercise all supporting a great charity. The 9th Annual Race for Fetal Hope is one of the top events and must do events in Colorado.

The event features top local elite athletes battling for prize money, a procession led out by Riding with a Cause motorcycle club (this will blow you away), over 1,000 of your youth participating (many running their very first 5K), huge family fun expo with with live band featuring Retro (80's), dedicated kids activity area, on-course entertainment and a few surprises (you will not want to miss it!).

Proceeds benefit the Fetal Hope Foundation. The event highlights awareness for and the hope that exists for expecting parents who have been diagnosed with a fetal syndrome.

Come join us with over 3000 participants and 500+ spectators lining the course. This is a 5K you will not want to miss!

    Course description: The event will start just on the outside of park close to the intersection of Franklin and Louisiana. The course will take you around the perimeter of the park and then into the park to finish on the famed diagonal.

    Directions to start: The start line is located just outside Washington Park on the south side at the intersection of Franklin and S Louisiana near South High School.
       
    Parking: Parking is availabe at South High School and around the perimeter of the park.

  • Overall Male & Female will receive $200

  • 2nd Place Overall Male & Female will receive $150

  • 3rd Place Overall Male & Female will receive $100

  • Overall Stroller Male & Female will receive $100


  • Awards will be presented to:
  • The first three overall male & female finishers.

  • The first three overall male & female stroller finishers.

  • The first three age group finishers (male & female) in the following age categories: 12 & under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 & over.

  • Finisher ribbons will be awarded to all kids participating in the Fun Run.

    Additional Info: 800,000 pregnancies every year are affected by a fetal syndrome(four times greater than breast cancer). Everyday we lose more than 200 babies. Help us provide hope by donating, fundraising and participating in this wonderful family event that includes a Kids Fun Run, 5K Run/Walk, on-course fun, family expo and festival, our unique stroller division and much much more.     Family Festival: Join us and our sponsors and many more for fun, refreshments and prizes at one of Denver's largest post race expos and family festival.
       
    Stroller Division: For those who want to be recognized for the hard work of pushing a stroller. Only the participant pushing the stroller should select this division.
       
    Note: Children that will be pushed in a stroller or will not be actively participating in the main 5K Run/Walk are not required to register unless they want an event t-shirt and bib number.

Race day packet pick up will be available on event morning starting at 8:30 am. Pre-registration area will be located in front of South High School.
