Description:

The Move Forward 5K/10K is an event created as a community outreach service project held by the Physical Therapy students at Regis University. All the proceeds from the event go to The Argyle Foundation, which provides support services to low-income residents of The Argyle Senior Living Center located on 38th Street in Denver. Experienced runners, casual walkers, families, and pets are all welcome to participate. This year's event will be held on Saturday, September 28th, 2013. Along with raising needed funds for this local non-profit agency, the Move Forward 5K/10K has a number of other goals. These include growing the event to be recognized as an annual Denver race to raise awareness of the role of physical therapists in health promotion and wellness and to encourage our local community to increase their exercise and physical activities. With the efforts of Regis University's Doctor of Physical Therapy students and our sponsors, we can make this event a race of choice for the Denver community while simultaneously raising critical funds to support seniors who live at the Argyle Senior Living Center.
