Pedaling 4 Parkinson's 2017

Saturday, June 24, 2017   •  60 Mile, 40 Mile, and 10 Mile Rides

Address:

Lone Tree, CO

Description:

Our eighth annual Pedaling 4 Parkinson’s ride on June 24th will be bigger and better than ever, starting at Sweetwater Park in Lone Tree.

Pedaling 4 Parkinson’s draws hundreds each year to join the fight against Parkinson’s Disease. This year we will be starting and ending at Sweetwater Park in Lone Tree. Riders can choose from three routes – 60-Mile, 40-Mile, and 10-Mile.  All money raised from riders will be donated to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research. Whether you’re a rider, sponsor, or volunteer, every effort counts.

Research shows that bicycling can have tremendous benefits to people with Parkinson’s, well beyond those enjoyed by all cyclists.  Vigorous cycling can sometimes reduce symptoms for hours or days afterwards. If you, or someone you know has Parkinson’s, please consider this opportunity to ride again, and help increase awareness of the many benefits of cycling.*
