Work up an appetite for a deluxe breakfast at The Pancake Stampede 5K!   The race is a part of Littleton's Western Welcome Week celebration and held before the annual pancake breakfast at Arapahoe Community College.

Registration includes: awards and entry to the Western Welcome Week Pancake breakfast (all you can eat pancakes and sausage, juice, milk, and coffee). 

5K race course runs along the beautiful Platte River on the Mary Carter Greenway with the start/finish in front of Hudson Gardens Event Center, 6115 S. Santa Fe Dr. Littleton 80120.  Prizes will be awarded to top age group and gender racers on this fast, flat run, chip timed event!

Proceeds benefit South Suburban’s Community Recreation Scholarship Program.

Be sure to check out South Suburban Parks & Recreation's Race Series Overview.  Participate in multiple races in the series and earn points for participation and finishing position.  Awards for top finishers in age/gender groups!  Free to participate!

 We will make a reasonable effort to hold the event in most weather conditions.

Course maps:


Hudson Gardens Event Center, 6115 South Santa Fe Dr., Littleton 80120. Parking will be available at ACC, in the north lot of Hudson Gardens, as well as the dirt lot to the south. Please do NOT park at the Denver Seminary as we need to be respectful of their Sunday worship or on the side street to the north of the Event Center.

Awards info:

Overall Male and Female Winners; plus 1st and 2nd place medals for age/gender division winners (10-year increments).

Online registration closes at Midnight, Thursday, August 10.

Day of registration opens at 6:45am on Sunday.

Any runners registering on race day will receive shirts based on size and quantity available on site.

Child Supervision

Child Supervision will be available near the start/finish.  Children ages 4-11, will be supervised by licensed child care professionals in an enclosed area, while parents participate in the race.  Care will be available from 7:30-9:00am.  Only $2 (cash only) per child.  To reserve your spot, email Sarah,

Post-Race Yoga

Join us after the race for an instructor lead yoga session!  Session will begin around 8:30am as runners come in and will go on for 30 minutes.  Runners are encouraged to join the group whenever they finish the race in the grass space at the finish line.  BYOM (Bring your own mat if you want to use one)

Must register by Wednesday, August 9, to be eligible for advance packet pick-up

Pre-Race Packet Pickup

Thurs. 8/10 from 4-7pm at South Suburban (6631 S. University Blvd. Centennial  80121)

Race day packet pickup will open at 7am.

Registration info:

 *Shirts are not included in registration fee.  They are an additional $12.  

Early Registration through 7/27: $15/$10 (Ages 14 and below)

Registration 7/28 through Race Day: $20/$10 (Ages 14 and below)  

Online registration closes at Midnight on 8/10. 

Race day registrations will be accepted.  Shirts sizes not guaranteed.  Runners registering on race day will be offered shirt sizes and quantity available on site.  

Completed registrations are non-refundable. Registrations may be transferred to another runner 2 days prior to race day by contacting the race director.
